        Widely known as the “Susan B. Anthony of Colorado,” Ellis Meredith was a well-known political journalist who would go on to lead Colorado’s suffrage movement starting in the late 19th century. During the 19th century two bodies, the Poor Law Union and the Sanitary District, had responsibility for governmental functions at a level immediately above that covered by the civil parish. In these were replace by Rural and Urban Districts.

      In lateth-century estimates of literary stature, Michael Drayton was not quite as highly regarded as Sir Philip Sidney, Edmund Spenser, and Ben Jonson. West Drayton is a suburban town in the London Borough of was an ancient parish in the county of Middlesex and from was part of the Yiewsley and West Drayton Urban District, which became part of Greater London in The settlement is near the Colne Valley Regional Park and its centre lies miles (3 km) north of Heathrow Airport.
